At PEP Enterprise, our commitment to social justice goes far beyond a single date on the calendar. While Race Equality Week (2–8 February) is a vital focal point for our organisation and the wider community, race equality is a fundamental principle that sits at the heart of our vision every day of the year.

Centring Lived Experience

We believe that true progress is only possible when we centre lived experience. By creating intentional spaces where every individual is seen, heard, and valued, we work to dismantle the systemic barriers that have historically silenced Global Ethnic Majority (GEM) voices. This week serves as a catalyst for reflection and, more importantly, for the collective action needed to drive sustainable change across our communities.

Moving Beyond Passive Support

As we progress through the year, we call on our partners and stakeholders to move beyond passive support. Change is not something we can achieve alone; it requires us to listen, learn, and act together.

We encourage everyone to consider whose voices are missing in their professional and personal spaces. Identifying specific, meaningful actions is the best way to support race equality today and in the future.
