For too long, the Global Ethnic Majority (GEM) community has faced systemic inequalities. At PEP, we are committed to changing this by moving beyond tokenism and driving real progress. Our leadership is lived experience as we believe those most impacted by these barriers are best equipped to break them.

Our mission is simple: “To advocate for the historically excluded GEM community through lived experience. We raise awareness and create solutions for equitable leadership and representation via partnership and collaboration.”

Equity
We believe in the value and contributions all can bring. We are committed to dismantling the barriers that have long prevented GEM communities from participating fully in society. We promote fair treatment, opportunities, and advancement for everyone.
Representation
We believe that visibility is power. Too often, GEM communities have been sidelined, their stories left untold. We are committed to ensuring their voices are not only heard but are at the forefront of shaping narratives. By centring their contributions, we aim to create a world where diverse perspectives are recognised, valued, and central to building a more inclusive and equitable future.
Leadership
We believe that leadership is better when they are equitable and representative. We inspire GEM communities to emerge as leaders and decision-makers. We promote and empower individuals to lead. We lead from the front towards a future where diverse voices influence policies, organisations, and society.
Collaboration
We believe that lasting change is achieved through solidarity. Meaningful progress requires collective effort, and we prioritise partnerships and teamwork with individuals and organisations across various backgrounds and sectors as the cornerstone of our approach.
