24th June 2023
On Saturday, 24th June 2023, we at PEP Enterprise hosted an incredible event to mark Refugee Week at Monkey PlayLand. Over 180 attendees gathered to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and the strength of our community. The evening was filled with joy, laughter, and a shared appreciation for the rich cultures that make up our community. Families enjoyed a delightful spread of foods brought by various members of the community, each dish reflecting a different culture and tradition. It was a true celebration of diversity through food, where attendees bonded over flavours from around the world.
Children were treated to free access to Monkey PlayLand, where they enjoyed the play centre’s activities at no cost, allowing them to run, play, and make new friends in a fun and safe environment. It was a wonderful sight to see the children smiling and having fun, while parents connected and relaxed.
The atmosphere was filled with warmth, and the event was a perfect reflection of what Refugee Week is all about—bringing people together, celebrating different cultures, and fostering a sense of understanding and inclusion. We are grateful to everyone who joined us in making this event a success and look forward to continuing our commitment to unity, diversity, and support for refugees in our community.
