In November 2019, we proudly participated in the “Real People, Honest Talk” campaign, which focused on youth engagement and creating interfaith dialogue. Partnering with Raza Jamia Masjid, we tackled pressing neighbourhood issues and shared our insights at “The Big Conversation,” an impactful event that drew over 200 attendees, including local council members, the Mayor, and community organisations.
This gathering was a vibrant tapestry of voices from different faiths and backgrounds, all united by a passion for creating positive change in our community. It was inspiring to see young people actively engaging with their leaders, sharing their concerns, and presenting solutions to the challenges facing their town. Together, we laid the groundwork for more resilient and cohesive communities, proving that through dialogue and collaboration, we can achieve meaningful progress!
