A huge thank you to Monkey Playland for offering this free day for refugee families to come and have fun. Both parents and their children firmly enjoyed themselves!

Monkey Playland also offered many flexible volunteering and paid opportunities to help refugees with integration, gaining work experience and developing their confidence.

It is truly admirable when local businesses go above and beyond to support their local community!

The Women’s Empowerment Walk club allows women of all ages and backgrounds to come together and walk to improve their mental and physical health. This is a fantastic opportunity for inactive women to empower themselves through walking, making new friends, exploring different environments and enjoying themselves.

Monkey Playland are offering a fantastic opportunity for refugees and asylum seekers to learn and develop new skills at one of the largest children’s play centres in Lancashire!

This includes 15 volunteering opportunities related to kitchen or general play centre duties, as well as a paid, part-time role for a cleaner. If you are interested or would like more information, please contact us!

Monkey Playland are offering a FREE day for asylum seeker and refugee families to bring their children and enjoy themselves! This free day will be on Monday 4th of April and Monday 11th April between 2:00PM and 4:00PM. Please contact us if you are interested!

We’ve seen all sorts of exciting changes at PEP over this winter period – with new volunteers and staff joining us; new projects of work and new partnerships with other organisations. Last, but not least, we hope that you are enjoying our completely updated and redesigned website!

Many of our projects have continued throughout the various lockdown, some in modified forms, and making use of Zoom to meet, for example.
